Two of My Favorite Things for You!

I'm excited to share two of my favorite things with one blessed reader through a little giveaway!  Unlike many giveaways, this one IS OPEN TO INTERNATIONAL READERS as a shout out to all my missionary sisters around the world!

One pound of coffee beans

and...

a digital subscription to Country Living Magazine through Zinio.
I was thrilled to find Zinio since I was unable to afford the overseas subscription to my magazine!  I hope you will enjoy it too!

The giveaway is open until Sunday night, November 15th at midnight PST.  You can win one entry for each of the following:
1.  Leaving a lovely comment telling me what you are most thankful for today
2.  Becoming a follower or subscribing in a reader OR already being a follower/subscriber.
3. Posting about the Two of My Favorite Things Giveaway on your blog

Please leave a separate comment for each entry.  Good luck everyone and thanks for being such wonderful readers!  Hugs from Paraguay!

****If you have a mailing address in the continental US, you can choose to forgo the coffee beans for the paper version of Country Living if you prefer.****

Oh cool! I love coffee and Country living too! Yet more things we have in common friend! Today I am really thankful for my hubby who is putting snow tires on the car today. A task i never liked to do when single and have great compassion on him as he does it for me today. With snow coming down, it's right on time to keep us safe this winter. Bless you Shilo!

Fun times! Who doesn't love a giveaway?
Today I am SUPER thankful for a safe and warm (or should I say HOT?!) place to live, and for our new apartment in a new country.

Wow, aren't you generous! Today I'm thankful for technology that connects me to folk all over the globe and even lets me time travel to the past and see Eli as a smaller boy. Oh, and rain...very thankful for rain that brings cooler temps! (P.S. I don't like coffee...but a digital magazine sounds COOL!)

Oh, what a fun giveaway! I'll have to check out that website! Today I'm thankful for quite a few things...a good night's sleep, a hot cup of coffee (ok, ok, it's TWO cups this morning), a warm house (most houses around here are cold because they don't use insulation, but ours has it!), my family, and that God doesn't stop working on me. :)

The 2 things I am most thankful for today are the good results from my recent mammogram and air conditioning.
I'm following your blog and i'll post your giveaway on my blog as well!
Have a great day, and keep cool! Hugs, Brenda

Fun giveaway! I won't try to enter because I don't like coffee and our internet is hopelessly slow so a digital issue won't do me any good but I would like to list two things I am thankful for. I am thankful the Lord has decided to use us here and in small ways we have begun to see fruit of His work both in our lives and in the lives of those we are working with. I am also thankful for mangos. Sorry all of you out there but I have to say that out of all my "extensive travels" the mangos here in Mozambique are the best! Our season just started so we are indulging.

What a cool idea. Today I'm thankful for family and especially for sisters. And I'm thankful for you for "filling in my spot" with my sisters. God bless you and your family. (and I pray he sends you rain and cooler temperatures)

Shilo-I love reading your blog (when I can fit it into my schedule). What kind of chickens produce those HUGE eggs???

I am thankful for the freedom to serve my GOD! Pray that I will continue to grow as a Christian to be the person that God wants me to be!

Keep up the great work. Someday, when I feel I have something interesting to say, maybe I will blog again. I tried it for a while...but haven't done anything for a very long time. So, I will "try" to update my blog about your contest, I cant make any promises...lol. I will definately post again if I get it done...lol

Have a wonderful rest of the day

Today I was extra thankful for my husband, Davey, and the little things he does. He pretty much always makes the bed. Lately, because of insomnia, he's been trying the hammock or the couch w/ fox news to lull him. And this morning, I finally clued in how oblivious I've been to the fact that even though he's not sleeping in it -- he still making the bed. Yes Lord. You gave me a good one.

Hey! Fun giveaway idea, by the way. I have enjoyed your blog so much over the past several months that I've been following. You are creative and sincere, which makes your posts entertaining yet challenging at times, too. Keep it up! Hope you are having a wonderful day in Ecuador. Miss you.

Today I am thankful for the high of 73 degrees! What a beautiful day. Also, I am thankful for a beautiful, healthy, and energetic baby girl who keeps us smiling.

How fun!!! I Have never heard of Zinio, but that is the BEST idea! I love magazines, but like you, I can't afford the shipping.

Today I am feeling most thankful that my little boy's previously broken arm is fully healed as was confirmed by the doctor this week, and for my wonderful family that I have been thoroughly enjoying lately. We're away from home for 2 weeks trying to get new visas for Russia, so life is slower and we've had a lot of together time. It has been a true blessing.

So nice of you to include us non-US-dwellers... okay, truth is, it'd be cheaper for you to ship to me than to the US, but that's another story. Haha! I'm a follower...

I'm thankful for water filters which hook to the kitchen sink and don't cost an absolute fortune in comparison to doctor bills and toilet paper..... :)

What a sweet and meaningful giveaway! Right now I am very thankful for my little girl and for her pappa who took her to town with him so I can get a little break... :)

Shilo, how fun is this. I usually catch these after the fact, and though I'm thankful to have caught it before it ended what I'm really thankful for (today) is Nasreen. She is a wonderfully warm and fun lady who speaks very little English and is so patient with me when I try to communicate. Today we arranged to meet more regularly and she will listen to me as I struggle through my Urdu language lessons. What a treasure she is from God - and she doesn't even understand it (yet).

Today I am most thankful for my church family. They started a Love One Another" offering early this year where all the money goes to help people in our church who are struggling to make ends meet. It has really brought our church together and let us show love to one another. Today I was able to see ways that families were helped out and I am so thankful! We are truly blessed to be part of such an amazing church family.
