Christmas Photo Mats

Since the entirety of my Christmas decorations has to fit in O.N.E. Rubbermaid, I have to look for creative ways to bring holiday cheer to my home.

This is one of my favorite things to do! Just take some cute wrapping paper (this was in the Target $1 Spot), cover your photo mat, and rehang. You get lots of bang for a little buck, not to mention that it is a super fast update!

If you don't have any photos with mats, why not wrap whatever artwork you have hanging on the wall with some paper and a gigantic bow?

And while we're on the subject of bows, here's another great place to use them:

I can't wait to buy some ribbon and give this idea, featured at The Inspired Room, a try! If you like this, check out Melissa's other ideas for using what you've got for your holiday decorating.

Veeeeery nice! That's so cool! Great idea...

The bow on the pillow looks beautiful...wouldn't last long in our house right now, though. But, I could put bows in higher places...hmmm...that's got me thinking. :)

Oh, how cute is that mat for the photo! Now you got me thinking too because I have about 25 rubbermaid boxes of Christmas decor. I am not kidding. Somewhere along the way things got a wee bit out of hand. And now with my move I am trying to figure out how I could do with less. I gave a few Christmas things away already (embarrassing, the things that were still out from last year. not kidding. they were in a closet ready to be put away but never got into the rubbermaids...so I gave those away as a start).

One container, eh? I love that idea.

Thanks for linking and I love that bow idea too. So easy and you don't even have to put the ribbon in a rubbermaid!

Happy night!

Great ideas! I've heard of wrapping your framed art like a gift, but I haven't tried it...maybe that's what I'll do this year. Thanks for the idea. Bows are great, huh?! They just really set things off.

Hope you have a great Tuesday!

Cute ideas! Found you from over at The Inspired Room. Isn't Melissa the best? I am loving the "use what you have." The bow over the pillow love it! And I love your Christmas photo mats - very clever!

Love the frame and how easy it would be to change it with seasons/holidays.

I love the pillow with bow! Yes, it is a great idea to "use" what you have and deck the halls with it. My wheels are turning....

one bin? only one? I am amazed! I don't know how many I have put as I put them back into the closet today {empty since I have almost finished decorating} I should have counted! :) A fabulous idea with the mats...so festive!!!

Oh, I love that bow on the pillow! I would have never thought of it! And the photo mat is a genius idea! I can't imagine having to put all the decorations in one box...just forces you to be more creative, right? :)
